GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Stetson women's golf team returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the 2026 Pirate Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina at Greenville Country Club.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the par-72 course, with 36 holes scheduled for Monday before the final 18 holes Tuesday. Competition is set to begin Monday with split tees off the first and 10th holes at 7:45 a.m.
Stetson will compete in a 14-team field alongside host East Carolina, App State, Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Longwood, NC State, Radford, Troy, UNCG and Wake Forest.
The Hatters will send out a lineup of junior Bridget Butler in the No. 1 spot, junior Isaki Sakashita at No. 2, sophomore Clara Willem at No. 3, junior Anna Huettl at No. 4 and sophomore Maggie Potash at No. 5.
Stetson enters its second tournament of the fall after opening the 2026-27 season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The Pirate Collegiate Classic marks the second of four tournaments on the Hatters' fall schedule.
Sakashita returns to the lineup after a standout 2025-26 campaign in which she was named the ASUN Golfer of the Year and earned First Team All-ASUN honors. Butler is also back in the lineup after closing last season with a fourth-place finish at the National Golf Invitational, highlighted by a final-round 69.
