DeLAND, Fla. – The Stetson University men's golf team returns to action for its second competition of the year Monday and Tuesday at the Florida Atlantic Invitational at The Bear's Club in Jupiter.
The two day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by Florida Atlantic University, will feature a 12-team field that includes the host Owls, UCF, Florida, Old Dominion, South Florida, North Florida, Stetson, Louisiana Tech, Florida A&M, Lipscomb, DePaul and Campbell.
The Hatters will be represented by Uy Doan, Simon Engman, Gabriel Lindahl, Federico Randazzo and Thanattasorn Supinraj. Jack Northgraves will also compete as an individual, with his scores not counting toward Stetson's team total.

Stetson opened the 2026-27 season with a sixth-place finish at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate at Grande Dunes Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Doan, a sophomore transfer from Hanoi, Vietnam, led the Hatters with a sixth-place individual finish, while Engman tied for seventh. Engman, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, posted three consecutive rounds of 2-under 70 and finished the tournament with 16 birdies, fourth-most in the field.
The Florida Atlantic Invitational will provide the Hatters with their first opportunity to compete at The Bear's Club, a private, Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Jupiter. Founded by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus in 1999, the 18-hole championship layout winds through native pine, oak and cypress trees and features rolling terrain, wetlands, strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The course measures 7,164 yards from the championship tees and plays to a par of 72.
The tournament also marks a return to South Florida for the Hatters after competing in last year's Florida Atlantic Invitational at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens. The event was shortened to 36 holes after inclement weather disrupted play. Stetson finished tied for fifth in the weather-shortened tournament, climbing eight spots over the final five holes of the second round.
Following the Florida Atlantic Invitational, the first of three-straight events in the state of Florida, the Hatters travel to Estero for the West Bay Collegiate on October 5-6 at West Bay Golf Club. Stetson concludes its fall season Oct. 12-14 at The Bryson Invitational at Doral Resort and Spa in Miami.
