Freshman Hicham Laalej improved his singles record to a team-best 15-3, including 7-0 at the #1 position, with a straight sets win over Mike Sherman.  Filip Kricka, Sergeui Boulanov, Joey Jones, Daniel Stamp, and Peter Dzuba also registered singles victories Tuesday.

The nationally ranked doubles team of Marcus Echtler and Kricka cruised to an 8-0 decision over David Carillo and Daniel Hangstefer.  Jones and Boulanov paired up for an 8-5 win at #2 doubles to improve their season record to 13-4. 

"We will take this conference win in hopes of gaining momentum for our re-match of last year's conference final," head coach Pierre Pilote said.  “I know the team is looking forward to playing Belmont and so am I.”

Stetson faces the Bruins Sunday at 12:00 noon at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
