One of the top quarterbacks in Stetson football history, Bill Johnson was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980. The Toledo, Ohio, native quarterbacked the 1951 Tangerine Bowl championship squad, passing for three touchdowns in the game to earn MVP honors as Stetson defeated Arkansas State, 35-20. Johnson also lettered three seasons for the baseball team.
