The Lima, Peru native had a major impact on the Stetson men’s tennis program during his four seasons in DeLand (1999-02). A four-time first-team All-ASUN selection, Demichelli earned 72 dual match singles victories in his career, including a remarkable 64 win at the No. 1 singles position. He won 14 straight matches at No.1 during the 2001 season and had two more double-digit wins streaks to his credit. Demichelli was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009.
