Hall of Fame
Known for his laid-back coaching style, Ray Hussey was involved with Stetson for nearly 50 years, starting first as a freshman in 1937. Initially, he helped assist with the men’s tennis team and in 1953 was named the head coach until his departure in 1986. During that time Hussey amassed a record of 495-338 as head coach. Hussey was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 1987.
