Stetson’s Athletic Director and football head coach from 1938-45, Brady Cowell also spent three seasons (1938-40, 1945-46) as men’s basketball head coach. His basketball teams went a combined 24-8, while he coached the Hatter football squad to 32 victories in nine seasons, including an 8-2 mark in 1935. He was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 1975.
