Mazeika made an immediate impact as a rookie, earning Freshman All-America honors from Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and the NCBWA after batting .382 with 81 hits and 33 RBI. The Hatter first baseman was selected as the ASUN Freshman of the Year and a first team ASUN All-Conference performer.
Mazeika batted .348 during his three-year career, earning second team all-conference honors in 2014 and first team all-conference honors again in 2015, this time as a catcher. That season, he also garnered ASUN Player of the Week, ASUN All-Tournament team, and ASUN All-Academic team honors. He was named to the ASUN All-Decade team in 2020.
Following his Stetson career, Mazeika was selected in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB draft by the New York Mets. The Wilbraham, Mass. native played his entire professional career in the Mets organization and made his major league debut on April 11, 2021.
