Stetson University Athletics

After an admirable career at Stetson, Reginald "Guy" Garrett went on to coach Avon Park High School for 12 seasons. While there he had a winning percentage over 85 percent with 210 wins and just 35 losses. His teams appeared in six state championships, winning two in '55 and '56. He also won 48 consecutive games which is a state record. Garrett was also inducted into the Florida High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2010.
