Owen was the definition of a workhorse on the mound for Hatters. Owen threw four no-hitters in her career including one perfect game against Florida A&M on April 18, 1988 facing 15 batters. She holds the school record for starts in her career (126), wins (82), complete games (117), and innings pitched (873.1). She was selected the A-Sun Player of the Year in 1986, and was also selected to First Team All-Conference in 1987 and 1988.
