The first NFCA All-American in Stetson history, Swindle helped the Hatters win the ASUN Conference Championship in 2014. She earned tournament MVP honors after going a perfect 4-0 in the circle and batting .500 at the plate.  She also picked up the win in the circle in Stetson's first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, a 6-4 win over UCF at the Gainesville Regional.

For her career, Swindle was a four-time ASUN All-Conference selection (twice as a pitcher and twice as a hitter), a three-time ASUN Academic All-Conference performer, a three-time ASUN All-Tournament team selection, and a three-time ASUN Pitcher of the Week honoree.  She earned NFCA first team all-region and third team All-America honors in 2014 after being the only player in the NCAA with both 25 wins in the circle and 15 home runs at the plate. Her 27 wins that season tied a school record and her 1.26 ERA ranked eighth-best in the nation.

A native of Jackson, Miss., Swindle finished her career with the third most wins (71), strikeouts (576) and home runs (33) in school history. She was a USA Softball National Player of the Week honoree and was named to the ASUN All-Decade team in 2020.
