From Okahumpka, Florida, Margan was ranked #1 in Florida and #9 in U.S. Girls Junior Tennis when she came to Stetson. At Stetson, she was the #1 player on the tennis team for four years and also played volleyball. As a member of the Tennis team, Margan was named conference player of the year and was Second Team Academic All-American. After Graduating from Stetson with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and A Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Margan attended University of Florida where she got her Masters of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a specialization in Sport Psychology. Additionally, she got her PhD in Education with a specialization in Sport Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She has been a mental conditioning consultant for several collegiate athletics programs and IMG academy. Additionally, she taught at the University of Tennessee and the University of Florida.
